Cuttlefish Eating Fish Alive

While on a night dive I spotted this hunting cuttlefish eating fish alive. The cuttlefish is an ambush predator and a master at colour changing. It has 8 tentacles and shoots out two long feeding tentacles to catch the fish.  Its two arms are covered in suckers, which holds the prey tightly while it pulls the fish toward its beak for eating.  As you can see, the cuttlefish catches fish very quickly.  These are some of the marinelife we may see on a dive with Wild Kenya Safaris.

Giraffe and Impala Together

Some maasai giraffe and impala spotted together while on a game drive in tsavo east national park. You may have noticed that the impalas are all young males.  These are some of the wildlife we may see on a Tsavo East Safari with Wild Kenya Safaris.

Elephants That Drink Together Stay Together

A nice little herd of elephants congregate around a waterhole on a safari in tsavo east. Its nice to see all the elephants surrounding the water source taking a drink.  How cute is the little elephant at the end of the video trying to act like a tough guy lol.  These are some of the wildlife we may see on a Tsavo East Safari with Wild Kenya Safaris.  To Book a Safari with Wild Kenya Safaris: Website: https://www.wildkenyasafaris.com

Giraffe and Zebras Feeding Together

A lovely sight of some giraffe and zebras feeding together around a tree. Its quite normal to find different species close to one another especially while feeding as its when they are the most vulnerable to predator's.  When wildlife are feeding together they all share the role to keep an eye out for danger. These are some of the wildlife we may see on a Tsavo East Safari with Wild Kenya Safaris.  To Book a Safari with Wild Kenya Safaris: Website: https://www.wildkenyasafaris.com

Beautiful Eyes | Lizard Fish

Beautiful Eyes | Mantis Shrimp

The mantis shrimp has quite beautiful and unusual eyes.  While humans have 3 photoreceptors, mantis shrimp have 16 photoreceptors and can see in ultra violet, visible and polarised light while moving each eye independently.  This mantis shrimp is hidden in the sand waiting to catch any prey that passes by.  These are some of the marine life we may see on a scuba diving trip with Wild Kenya Safaris.

Beautiful Eyes | flathead

A flathead fish body is flat and wide from its dorsal fin to its mouth, which means that the beautiful eyes of the flathead fish are both facing upwards.  Since flatheads prefer to burry themselves in the sand, having eyes on top of their heads means they can see what prey is passing overtop of them to grab.  These are some of the marine life we may see on a scuba diving trip with Wild Kenya Safaris.
