Wild Dogs Of Tsavo East National Park

Wild Dog of Tsavo East It took me Four Years to get this photo! About four years ago, rumors were coming through the bush telegraph that a pack of wild dogs from tsavo west had split from the main pack and were now sporadically sighted in tsavo east. The catch however, was that they were never seen in the same place twice, they were sighted for only a few brief moments, then disappeared  again for months on end.  From that moment on, it became a personal quest to find these elusive and rare painted d ogs of tsavo east. Year after year, safari after safari, whether alone or with guests, even while i was on KWS park patrols, i never gave up. Then a couple of days ago, everything came together, i finally got my sighting, a pack of 12 with pups and they stayed and played for almost an hour!  I hope it does not take me another 4 years to see them again. So my advise to all aspiring wildlife photographers is don't loose hope, never give up, stay on the quest for that special
