Kenya Says No To Poaching!

Shazaad Kasmani of Wild Kenya Safaris. He is an Honorary Game Warden with Kenya Wildlife Service and is also on the Conservation committee at MCTA.

The 5th of February was a day for the people of Mombasa to peacefully come together and give a voice for the voiceless wildlife of Kenya. Wild Kenya Safaris was naturally there to participate and photograph the event. The walk started from the symbolic Mombasa Tusks and ended at the Kenya Wildlife Service & PC's offices where a memorandum was submitted to halt the poaching incidences.
Wild Kenya Safaris has always been pro-conservation. Shazaad is an Honorary Game Warden with Kenya Wildlife Service and is on the Mombasa Coast Tourist Association Conservation Committee.

During the march, the people of Mombasa were driving a message for the Kenyan Government for them to realize that without wildlife there is no tourism.

Kenyan's are proud of their animals, its a natural heritage and they do not wish to loos them to poachers.

The Colobus Monkeys Of Diani Beach

Angolan Black And White Colobus Monkey in Diani Beach Kenya A wildlife lover deciding to spend a few days at the Diani Beach coastline will be in for a special photography treat. Its one of the few places in Kenya where one can sight the Angolan Colobus Monkey at close range. They are easily identifiable by their black face, black fur and long locks of white hair that surrounds the face and also hangs off the shoulders. Being arboreal, they generally prefer to stay among the tree branches and canopy's feeding on leaves, fruits and flowers rather than foraging on the ground.
